CSED 499 Project Proposal Guideline

The following should be included in your proposal.

1.  Cover page with the title of the project, student name, student number, 
    lab name and supervising professor's name

2.  Project Description
    - goal: what are you going to do in this project?
    - purpose: why are you developing the tool or studying the topic?
    - method: how are you going to achieve your goal?

3.  If more than 1 student is doing the project (at most 2 students), please describe the following
    - why this project needs to be done by more than 1 student
    - how the tasks will be divided between the students.

4.  Project Schedule

    - provide a time schedule for the project with the following phases
	A. information gathering & understanding the topic
	B. requirements analysis
	C. high-level design
	D. detailed design
	E. prototype implementation
	F. testing and debugging
	G. Poster presentation to the CSE professors and students
	H. demo and submitting final report

Submit your proposal (PPT print) in class, upload it to the LMS
and link your proposal to your homepage (assignment #1).

*** Prepare the proposal using Powerpoint in 10 or less pages!
*** No other documentation is required except for the PPT
